Custom Icing : City to Country & Award Winners

It has been a fabulous 12 months and we would like to share with you some of the big events that have occurred. 
In June 2018 Custom Icing relocated from the suburbs of Melbourne to a tiny country town in the NSW Riverina called The Rock. 
Making a tree change was a long time in the planning and something that took a lot of planning and also a big leap into the unknown. 
Here we are, a little over a year later and we are so pleased we have made the change to country living for our family and our business. We highly recommend it to everyone!

The main concern of our business relocation was about freight and our edible image orders not being able to be delivered in our regular super fast time frame. Those concerns were very short lived and we have continued our strong working relationship with both Toll and Australia Post to continue to bring our customers the premium delivery level we always have over the last 12 years. 

We continue with strong growth and look forward to breaking all the preconceived ideas that business in rural areas is more difficult.  We have proved that you do not have to be located in a big city to have a thriving business. We thank each and every one of our wonderful customers and clients for their continued support. We love making edible images for you every day. 

Much to our surprise in May 2019 we were awarded not one but two incredible awards in the Lockhart Business Excellence Awards.  We submitted our entry and being such newcomers to the area, we certainly did not think that we would even have a shoe in let alone taking out the top gong! 



Custom Icing was awarded Gold Excellence in Small Business and also 2019 Business Of The Year. 



The certificates and lovely awards have pride of place in our office.  We are very grateful to Lockhart Shire Council who have been wonderful in all aspects of our requirements of our relocation. The future really is very bright for our little town and the entire shire. Rural business and living at it's best.  Great people and beautiful surroundings. A perfect environment for businesses to thrive. 

We have met so many other live minded business owners and we are keen to see what collaborative efforts could create in the near future. Custom Icing edible printing for cakes, cookies and desserts, from rural Australia to the world.
